Radio Club de los Andes (LU8YE) will be ready with a multioperator crew for the next CQ WW CW contest.

Radio Club president, well know argentinian contester Sergio Landoni LU7YS, said "We are very proud to meet the "coffe and cream" of the LU contesters who love CW Mode, and we will  enjoy amateur radio and contest spirit with good QSOs, good patagonian asados and very nice experience.

Alberto LU1DZ said, " We are not going to set any new record, and we will have the first experience with the new "Patagonia Food and Wine Multioperator Category".

Fernando LW2DX, who will drive his new car said, "We will spend about 350/400 litres of fuel but we will be very happy to visit our mountainers friends again".

Guillermo LW1EXU is preparing Notebooks and a router for 2 set of operator position and a separate screen controller and log backup with N1MM software.

All equipments and computers will be provided by club members and friends.

The LU8YE antenna farm is:

+ 10 to 30 MHz - 8 elements Log
+ 2 elements 40 m
+ 20/15/10 m 3 elements Walmar
+ 80 m vertical
+ 160 m Marconi
+ Plus dipoles and wires.

The GACW representatives LW1EXU, LW2DX and LU1DZ will drive more than 1,700
km from Buenos Aires to San Martin de los Andes to participate with the
local crew.
